DECORATION COMMUNITY OBJECTIVES

To provide an inviting holiday theme that is welcoming to the neighbors and visitors. Simply said, we want to bring smiles to the neighborhood. Since we have a vast variety of neighbors, we must be sensitive to the type of decorations that are chosen. 
The decorations should be non (Religious – Political – Racial) themed. The decorations should be tasteful and appropriate for all age groups.  
You will see a calendar on the website, in which you can sign up for the holiday you wish to do.
The selection process will be on a first come basis. If a period of two weeks passes and there is not a conflict, that specific party who came first will be selected for that holiday. 
If there is a conflict where two individuals have chosen the same holiday, consider decorating as a team. 
We also ask to please be considerate of other members of the decorating community as to holiday selection.  Example: if a person did the Winter holidays season this year, that next year you select another holiday season.  Possibly, then the third year sign up for the Winter holiday season. This will give others a chance to decorate. 
As a general rule of thumb, “approximately” the decorations should be put up two weeks prior to the holiday and taken down two weeks later.  If decorations are left up longer for unseen reasons, other members of the decoration community should assist and take down the decorations.
